Included with the lamp are seven neon jellyfish, each elegantly crafted to mimic real life jellyfish.

This soothing lamp has the added benefit of turning off automatically after 4hrs, ensuring energy efficiency. The Jellyfish Aqua Mood Lamp 80cm is whisper quiet and requires minimal maintenance.

Whilst it is free standing, if likely to be knocked, it may be worthwhile using a bracket to secure it to a wall. We do have brackets available click here (but you can also buy them from a plumbing supplier).

We recommend opening and testing your jellyfish lamp immediately after purchase.

Instructions for set up:

1. Remove cap
2. Add water to the top (distilled water is recommended) 
   
3. Connect power plug and turn on and keep running for 10 minutes before the next step 
4. Add jellyfish (place in water upside down and ensure there are no trapped air bubbles).  Use the plastic straw provided to help remove any bubbles
5. Add 8 drops of dish detergent
6. Put the cap back on (making sure the water is full up to the black plastic)
   

For best performance and durability of the unit, it will switch off automatically after 4 hours of operation.

Trouble shooting:

If jellyfish are not moving well or stay at the top of the tank

• it takes 12 hours for the jellyfish to swim beautifully in the tube
• make sure there is enough dish detergent - try adding a little more at a time until the jellyfish are moving well (we used quite a bit more than 8 drops)
• check all jellyfish have no air bubbles attached (this can take quite a bit of persistence)
